Why this exists
I tried the tools before building this one. Every one of them did the same thing on day one: it looked at my site, picked the keywords with the biggest search volume and told me to write about them.
One of them, on a brand-new site with a domain authority of 5, suggested a single-word keyword whose page one is Semrush, Ahrefs and Moz. I would have paid for an article that could never rank.12 Another wrote in the wrong language for my buyers. None of them asked what stage of the funnel the article was for, or whether my product could honestly be the answer.
A good prompt in ChatGPT wasn't better. The article read fine. It just had no reason to exist.
So Draftful starts from the other end: what can this domain rank for, in the market and language its buyers use, and which of those pages actually leads to a sale.1

Questions founders ask
Draftful is brand new. Why should I believe it works?+
We're pre-customer and we say so — no borrowed logos, no invented counts. The pipeline runs our own blog; the changelog is dated and links to the raw log. Your first 3 articles are free, so the proof you trust is your own output.
Does the free trial expire?+
The 3 articles are the trial, not a countdown. An account that never generates anything closes after 7 idle days; every article you generate pushes that out another 7, so if you use all three you never meet the clock. Whatever you already published stays yours either way.
Why not just use ChatGPT?+
ChatGPT writes a draft. Draftful runs the strategy, fact-checks every claim, holds the publish button until it passes, publishes, and then tracks whether any of it worked.
Will ChatGPT actually cite me?+
No one can guarantee citations. We optimize for how AI answers pick sources, and show the weekly result, starting with your baseline before you pay.
What happens to my articles if I cancel?+
You keep them. They publish to your domain as Markdown/HTML or via signed webhook — they're yours, not ours. Paid plans include a 14-day money-back window.
Does Google penalize AI content?+
Google penalizes unhelpful content, and says so itself. Every Draftful article is fact-checked, scored and gated before publishing.
Can I review before it publishes?+
Yes. Autopilot has three levels: Off, Propose and Draft. Nothing publishes without you — the gate holds on every article, even on autopilot.
Where does it publish?+
Export as Markdown or HTML, and signed webhooks today. WordPress, Webflow and Shopify are on the roadmap, labeled as such.
How do you measure AI citations?+
Each engine is measured through its own API with the provider's native web search, set to your site's country. What you see in the ChatGPT or Gemini app can vary from that.
Can I use Draftful from ChatGPT or Claude?+
Yes. Connect the Draftful MCP server with one URL and OAuth, and your agent can propose topics, generate articles and read AI Visibility from inside the chat. See the MCP setup
Pricing
Pricing that's one number, not a spreadsheet.
ChatGPT writes a draft for $20 a month. An agency writes and publishes for about $2,000. Draftful sits in the middle: Growth is $79 a month for 30 articles written, fact-checked, published and measured — $2.63 an article.
Founder price: 20% off your first 3 months with code FOUNDER20, until November 30, 2026. First purchase only.
