Draftful MCP

Use Draftful from ChatGPT, Claude or your agent

Draftful MCP is one URL your agent connects to over OAuth. Give it a theme, a link or a pasted transcript and it proposes article topics, generates the article, runs fact-check and reads your AI Visibility results, all inside your account's plan and quota — the same limits and the same actions as the app, called from your chat.

Connect

Add this URL as a custom connector in your MCP client, then authorize with your Draftful account.

What the agent can do

Every tool calls the same action the app calls, under the same plan gates and the same usage events. Nothing exists in the MCP server that isn't also in the app.

Write and publish tools are next.

Scopes and safety

  • Read, propose, write, publish

Every tool declares the scope it needs. Read is available on every plan; write and publish arrive next. Your OAuth consent screen shows exactly which scopes a client is asking for before you approve.

  • One site per connection

Each authorization is scoped to a single workspace. An agency connecting ten sites authorizes ten times, one per site — never one token with access to every site on the account.

  • Same limits as the app

Scopes offered to a connection are also limited by the role of the person authorizing it: a member sees read and propose, only an admin or owner sees write and publish.

  • Counts against your quota

Articles generated through MCP count against the account's article quota, exactly like articles generated from the app.

  • Daily fair use

Requests to turn a source into topics, and fact-check reruns, are capped per day and per article so an agent left running in a loop can't run away with cost.

  • Revocable anytime

Every authorization — client, workspace, scopes, last used — is listed under Account → MCP connections, and revoking one invalidates it immediately.

Method note

Article text, search results and anything read from a source are treated as a document your agent reads, not as instructions it should follow. Tool descriptions say so explicitly, because content read through MCP can otherwise be used to hijack an agent.
